The purpose for this blog is for it to become a place where you can find articles, quotes, videos, and pictures that speak to the inequality rampant in today’s society, and where you can get introduced to people and organizations who embody the very essence of social justice. We need to take a good look at our world and see it not through the rose-colored glasses we all tend to wear, but with a critical mind that acknowledges these injustices and finds a way to foster social change. It’s undeniable that we live in a world rife with poverty, genocide, discrimination, racism, sexism, classism – all sorts of “isms.” However, we can’t just sit around and pray that someone else will come and solve our problems; to be a bystander is just as bad as being a perpetrator.
